MyCasualCompanion Terms of Service: Legal Agreement for Platform Use

You understand that all interactions with other users are at your own discretion and risk.

3. User Responsibilities

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are solely responsible for all content you post, transmit, or share via the Service.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only. No right, title, or interest in or to the Service is transferred to you.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall MyCasualCompanion, its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

1. Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
2. Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
3. Any content obtained from the Service.
4. Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; or that the Service or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the Service in terms of correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion tools within the Service. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or the Service shall be instituted exclusively in the courts located in the United Kingdom, although we retain the right to bring any suit, action, or proceeding against you for breach of these Terms in your country of residence or any other relevant country.
